Jill Garrard has been the Executive Director for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City since 2012. Prior to that, she spent three years working for the Jayhawk Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in Topeka. There, she created and implemented the 20 Under 40 fundraising event and successfully completed a capital campaign to fund renovations to Falley Scout Reservation. Prior to her time with BSA, she spent nine years fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, planning and implementing local events including the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
A native of Iowa, Jill graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. In June of 2015, she earned her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credentials. Jill loves to read and spend time with her husband and two daughters.
Amy has been the Development Manager for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City since 2012. Prior to that, she was the Program Coordinator for seven years at the Muscular Dystrophy Associaton in Mooresville, North Carolina. One of the aspects she loves most about working for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is being able to work with all of the amazing children and families that benefit from CMN funding each year.
Amy graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 and has called Kansas City home for the last eight years. She enjoys reading, running half marathons and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Sue began her career at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as our accountant on March 12, 2012. She says the thing she loves most about working at CMN is being able to see how generous the citizens of Greater Kansas City are and how much their contributions really do help so many local kids.
Lorna Walker joined Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City in 2018 as the Family Coordinator. Previously, she ran her own business in the sales industry for the past 19 years. Lorna is also a CMN mom and is really looking forward to helping families navigate through their child's medical journey and lending support through CMN.
Lorna graduated from Emporia State University in 2003 and moved back to her hometown in Kansas. She loves working out, watching movies, and spending time outdoors with her husband and twin boys.
