Miracle Jeans Day - Go Casual for Kids

The Miracle Jeans Day concept is simple. Individuals or groups can participate in Miracle Jeans Day by supporting Children's Miracle Network with a minimum donation of just $5. In return, participants can choose from memorable Miracle Jeans Day merchandise to wear with their jeans on September 15, 2010. Fall Fun Fest

Come celebrate with us on Saturday, October 2nd, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Kirmayer Fitness Center at KU Medical Center. Your family will enjoy a fun day of games, crafts, and food provided by our wonderful sponsors.

THE FAMILY DANCE OFF

Primrose Schools (www.primroseschools.com) has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network in an online promotion that will result in a $30,000 donation to one lucky CMN hospital.

The Family Dance-Off is a dance-themed PR and marketing campaign designed to encourage families to use dancing as a method of staying active and healthy. Parents nationwide can upload short home videos of their family’s best dance moves to the program’s website www.familydanceoff.com between February 1 and March 19. Visitors can vote for their favorite videos online each day and a weekly winner will be selected for the first seven weeks of the contest. During the last week of the contest, all previous weekly winners will be featured on the site to compete for a $5,000 grand prize which will be announced March 26. Additionally, Primrose will donate $30,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network hospital in the grand prize winner’s market. So put on your dancin' shoes and have some fun!

Radiothon Volunteer Opportunities!

During our Radiothon on Mix 93.3 on Tues, Mar 30 & Wed, Mar 31, we’re looking for Radiothon Street Teams - Street Teams are made up of four volunteers who will raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network during the Radiothon. Teams will be located at designated intersections in the Kansas City area. During their shifts, Street Teams will ask people driving by for donations to support Children’s Miracle Network. This is an excellent way to get the whole community involved and aware of the mission of CMN and Radiothon on Mix 93. Fundraising proceeds will benefit children treated at KU Medical Center Pediatrics and Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.

Just find three friends, family members or co-workers, choose your date and time, and then e-mail us at kheerwald@kumc.edu and we’ll get the four of you signed up.

During our Spanish Radiothon on LaGranD 1340 on Thurs, Apr 22 & Fri, Apr 23, we’re looking for volunteers who are bi-lingual to assist in communicating with the Hispanic families that will be present at the Radiothon.
